PURPOSE:To enable the automatic and efficient removal of the glaze on the surface of the work exposing from the through-hole of a mask in contact with the surface of the work prior to the process for solidifying the same by the constitution wherein a brush is linearly run forward and backward while the brush is held in contact with the circumferential edge of said through-hole. CONSTITUTION:The work (a) coated thereon with glaze for enamel or the like prior to a sintering treatment is placed horizontally on a frame base 36 in the front part of an equipment bed 1, and a mask 30 provided with a through-hole 31 is held closed by the actuation of an air cylinder 32. A cylindrical brush 21 projected on the frame plate 7 of a carriage 5 is driven by a reversible motor 9 to rotate around a turning shaft 20, and the carriage 5 is driven by the motor 9 to travel back and forth on a rail 2 by means of a sprocket and pulley not shown, as well as a pulley 17, a wire rope 18, etc., by which the brush 21 is moved so as to rub the straight edge 31a of the hole 31 and the glaze in the required part on the surface of the work (a) exposed from the hole 31 is removed. |

PURPOSE:To obtain a masking coat with stability to a thermal shock by melt- bonding a vitreous substance contg. CaO, PbO and SiO2 to Al2O3, ZnO2 or SiO2 as a porous inorg. substance stuck to a part to be masked. CONSTITUTION:>=1 kind of inorg. substance selected from Al2O3, ZnO2 and SiO2 is sprayed on a part to be masked to stick a sprayed layer of the porous inorg. substance. A vitreous substance (SiO2 contg. CaO and PbO) having a lower softening point than said inorg. substance is melt-bonded to the surface of the sprayed layer. Thus, a masking coat with stability to a thermal shock is obtd. |

PURPOSE: To obtain a good enamel surface by a method wherein a slip forming an enamel substance is coated on a metal substrate and, thereafter, the obtained slip coating is heated and dried by far infrared rays and baked.
CONSTITUTION: For example, the slip containing water glass forming enamel substance is coated on the metal substrate of a molten Al plated steel plate. The formed coating is heated and dried by far infrared rays with a wave length of 4W 50μ but this heating and drying treatment is carried out in such a manner that a time when a temp. of the coating surface reaches to 60°C is 5min or more. After drying, baking is carried out to form enamel. In forming two or more enamel layers, every one layer is dried by the far infrared heating or each layer is coated without a drying process and, thereafter, may be dried by the far infrared heating. Further, in forming the enamel substance into a self-cleaning type coating layer, this process can be also applied.

PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the generation of efflorescence with the passage of time by allowing a material with an alkali silicate film formed or a glassy film formed to stand in a CO
2 and/or NO
2-contg. humid atmosphere and washing it to remove alkali metal in the film.
CONSTITUTION: A material such as an Al plate or a glass plate is coated with an aqueous soln. of an alkali silicate such as sodium silicate usually in ≤ about 5μ, desirably in 0.5W2μ thickness and dried to form an alkali silicate film on the material surface. By further heating the material to a high temp., the film is vitrified and baked on the material as a glassy film. In the said process the material with the alkali silicate film formed or the glassy film formed is allowed to stand in a CO
2 and/or NO
2-contg. humid atmosphere to forcedly generate efflorescence consisting of alkali metal carbonate and nitrate, and then the efflorescence is removed by washing. Thus, alkali metal in the film is removed.

PURPOSE: To make easy the regeneration of material of a product having silicate coating film, by detecting a substandard product having silicate coating film by that time the product attains a prescribed temp., then by treating the product with acid or alkali.
CONSTITUTION: Substandard product is checked until it attains 150°C then it is treated with acid or alkali. As the acid for removing the coating film is used HCl, H
2SO
4, H
3PO
4, HNO
3 independently or in mixture. Acid concn. is set at 3W50wt% and the treating temp. at 30W80°C. Aqueous HNO
3 soln. is preferably used for the material made of metal, and is very preferable for the material made of Al. As the aqueous alkali soln., NaOH, KOH, or Ca(OH)
2 is used independently or in mixture. The concn. and the temp. are respectively 5W30% and 30W80°C. Substandard product is immersed in the aqueous soln., or the soln. is sprayed to the product.

PURPOSE:To improve the commercial value and elaborateness as a cloisonne by distinctly drawing even a delicate line on the surface of the cloisonne body without any skill. CONSTITUTION:A cloisonne wire 3a obtained by impregnating a high temp.- resistant fiber such as glass fiber and carbon fiber with a cloisonne glaze powder or pigment is used to form a desired picture pattern on the surface of a cloisonne body 1 formed into a desired shape, and a cloisonne glaze 5 is applied thereon and fired at an appropriate temp. Consequently, the drawing of a delicate line and coloring which have been performed with skill are conducted by the utilization of the cloisonne wire 3a, the line is not thickened due to blotting even if the lines (fibers in detail) are brought into contact with one another, and delicate lines overlapping one another like hair are easily revealed. |

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of an enameled product by perfectly automating its manufacture, to prolong the service life of a preprocessing soln., to improve the yield of glaze so as to reduce its manufacturing cost and furthermore to paint also the rugged faces. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet for enameling is cut into a prescribed dimension and is thereafter subjected to degreasing and washing, and this steel sheet for enameling subjected to the above degreasing and washing is applied with glazing, is thereafter dried and is painted. After that, the surface of the glazed layer is laminated with film and is subjected to compacting into a desired shape. Next, this compacted enameled steel sheet is baked to obtain an enameled product. |
