In an apparatus and process for manufacturing a detergent bar, the bar comprises a first distinct zone comprising a first component and at least a second distinct zone comprising a second component. In an injection step, the first and second components are injected into the mould cavity via nozzle means having a first orifice through which the first component is injected. The second component is injected through a second orifice of the nozzle means. The first and second components solidify in the cavity to form the bar. The interface between the zones may be non-planar and/or such that the zones cannot be separated by a unidirectional cut. The first and second zones may respectively comprise detergent and a benefit agent. The first and second zones may differ in texture. |

The present invention refers to a process for manufacturing a soap with imprinted trade mark which consists in the casting/injection of the soap background composition into a mould having a core (cores) which reproduces the soap trade mark, the mould opening, the release of the cake of soap and its re-introduction into either the same mould without cores, or another mould without the respective core and the casting/injection of another composition of different colour instead of the core. The mould for the application of process according to the present invention is composed of two half-moulds (1', 1") having cores (2', 2") possibly taken to pieces, which reproduce the soap trade mark and lie till the separation plane of the half-moulds resulting thus a blank space (a) inside the mould which is filled through a cast orifice (b) with the soap background composition, and an orifice (c) through which the other composition is cast/injected instead of the core place. |

According to the invention a soap is combined with one or more other soap masses. To this end said masses are pressed, stamped, cut or cast and reassembled (3, 6, 8) or combined already in the extruder (19). The pieces of soap can also present inserted relief areas (7) protruding on one or both sides and having different colours. Coloured soap masses in a wide range of shapes and colours (10; 13; 20; 23) can be integrated into transparent soap masses, for example by pressing a dried soap mass into a soap mass (19; 23) which is still soft or by pressing out hollow spaces (9; 12) which can be filled with pieces of soap or other liquid or solid objects. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a marked solid detergent, wherein a mark such as a clear line image is formed in the inside of a solid detergent using a laser light by improving the surface roughness of the solid detergent.SOLUTION: A method for producing the marked solid detergent includes: making the mark such as the line image by forming a transparent liquid layer closely to the surface of a transparent or translucent solid detergent, and entering a laser light into the solid detergent through the liquid layer so as to be collected at a light collecting point preset in the inside to cause a crack at the light collecting point. The transparent liquid layer is preferably formed of a liquid having low affinity or non-affinity to the solid detergent, and at least one selected from the group consisting of various oil agents and polyhydric alcohols is preferably used. The laser light may be YGA laser, YVOlaser, or fetomsecond laser. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a lightweight soap which not only hardly swells and is hardly soluble since it uniformly contains air bubbles but also is excellent in giving out the fragrance of a perfume. SOLUTION: A process for producing a lightweight soap having an apparent specific gravity of less than 1 and containing air bubbles dispersed therein, wherein a soap composition is subjected to aeration to incorporate air bubbles therein. The soap composition is then mixed with a perfume under conditions under which a shear strain energy less than that given by the aeration is given thereto. |

PURPOSE: To obtain a multicolor transparent soap having a laminate structure of clearly colored layers and a beautiful appearance, by separating a transparent soap stock in a molten state into a plurality of portions, coloring the individual portions in different colors and providing them with different specific gravities, followed by simultaneous cooling and solidification.
CONSTITUTION: After the completion of saponification, a transparent soap stock in a molten state is separated into a plurality of portions and the individual portions are colored in different colors. At the same time, the compsn. of each of the individual portions is changed so as to have a different specific gravity. Then, these portions are simultaneously cooled and solidified in the same container to prepare the desired soap. In the production of the transparent soap, the specific gravities of the individual stock portions are rendered different so that layers can be formed by simultaneous cooling in the same container. As a result, the whole of the individual layers can be dried under identical conditions. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a gap from being formed at the boundary lines of the layers and to clarify color boundaries. Moreover, the transparent soap is free from a drawback such that peeling occurs at the boundary faces during use.
