Adsorbents and reducing agents enabled efficient removal and solubilization of indigo, respectively, and thereby enabled high yields of the bio-indigo production process. An adsorbent removal process and the use of an eco-friendly reducing agent can be easily applied to mass production of bio-indigo, and are expected to be widely utilized industrially such as in adsorbent recovery, indigo separation, continuous reaction, and bio-dyeing processes. | ||||||
