CONSTITUTION: The waste water to be treated flowing in a bioreactor tank 1 from a raw water introducing pipe 2 flows up and down by air injected upwardly from an air diffusion pipe 5 to be contacted with an immobilized bacteria carrier 4 moving in a suspended state to undergo aerobic biological decomposition and the org. substance in waste water is decomposed and removed. Treated water containing a turbidity component flowing in the rising passage 16 of a catching tank 14 is held to an aerobic atmosphere by air injected upwardly from an air blow-out pipe 17 and the treated water in the rising passage 5 rises and flows by lift action due to the injection of air to suck treated water in the bottom part side of the catching tank 14. By this method, treated water comes to a recirculation stream to be caught by a contact material.
