Inflow water is circulated by a circulation pump 33 into one of the bisected chambers and the waste water is circulated by a circulation pump 34 into the other chamber. The water quality of the inflow water and outflow water are respectively detected by sensors 35, 36 and the water quality in the bioreactor 21 is detected by a sensor 37. The driving command for the pumps 33, 34 is emitted by the signals of the sensors 35W37 in a controller 38. As a result, the prescribed sludge treatment of sewage is made possible by the compact bioreactor device without requiring a tank having a large capacity.
