In this case, a PTO gear box 112 is provided in a space rightward above the transmission casing 98 and at the rear of the engine 34. There is a V-belt 124 extended between a driven pulley 122 at the input side of the gear box 112 and a driving pulley 120 on a PTO drive shaft 116 fitted to the engine 34. According to the aforesaid constitution, a belt transmission system 128 comprising both pulleys 116 and 120, and the V-belt 124 is prevented from being splashed with water when the vehicle is running over a water pool, and from taking in grass under the vehicle.
