CONSTITUTION: The pressure plate 14 placed on an earth electrode 32 is constituted of a felt sheet 33 having high heat insulating properties and the reinforcing plate-shaped members 34, 35 integrally bonded to the upper and lower surfaces of the felt sheet 33. Since the felt sheet is low in heat conductivity, even when the temp. of the object to be measured placed on the pressure plate is higher than that of a piezoelectric element 22, the transmission of heat to the piezoelectric element 22 is prevented. By this method, the effect based on temp. difference received by the piezoelectric element 22 can be suppressed and error caused by pyroelectric effect can be suppressed and, therefore, accurate pressure distribution can be measured.
