CONSTITUTION: Air is sucked with blower 2 and fed to fibrous substance layer 6 of bundled yarn 6a such as cotton yarn, where it vaporizes water rising from liquid vessel 8 by means of capillarity. The resulting steam is passed through sublimable substance layer 7 such as dry ice together with air from blower 2 to generate white smoke consisting of waterdrops from layer 7. The white smoke is fed to air conditioning system 5 from gas outlet 4 and mixed into a gas current in system 5. Thus, the gas current in system 5 can be observed visibly with the white smoke. The vol. of gas flowing out from outlet 4 is regulated by controlling flow rate regulator 10 while monitoring white smoke from outlet 4.
