CONSTITUTION: An operating member 4 is operated to form a heat pump circuit consisting of a compressor 23, a 4-way valve 24, an indoor heat exchanger 11, a liquid receiver 26, and a capillary tube 25, and an electric carpet 3 is turned on. A convection heating is conducted in indoor air through the radiation action of the indoor heat exchanger 11, and a floor heating is also performed through the radiation action of the carpet 3. Temperature sensors 5 and 6 detect a high and a low temperature in the area, and signal is sent to the operating member 4. The operation of the electric carpet 3 or heat pump circuit is controlled according to said condition, and temperature in the area is regulated. This regulates the temperature distribution in the area, and enables saving of energy and reduction of a running cost.
