When the cell is to be stopped, the valves 31, 32 are closed and ones 33, 34 opened to supply the purging gas to a thermo-medium circulating path 2 from a gas tank 10 via a decompression valve 35, and the high temp. thermo- medium in the pipings and heat-exchanger 17 is returned to the abovementioned tank 5.
