A DFE 10 outputs a soft decision value 11 from the detecting signal. A bit clock reproducing device 17 reproduces a clock from a receiving signal, and outputs it to a bit coefficient generator 12. The generator 12 outputs a bit coefficient 13, based on information from the reproducing device 17. By multiplying the coefficient 13 and the decision value 11, soft decision decoding data 14 is obtained.
