Insulation gas such as nitrogen is blown from the bomb 7 connected via the delivery tube 9 to the gas blow hole 6 to keep the pressure higher than atmospheric pressure. Thus, DC voltage generating unit is protected from water drops and moisture invaded from outdoor and the dielectric strength test for power calbe lines can be made safely even under raining and high moisture.
