A priority correction means 14 secures the optimum priority through the correction for the rules stored in the base 11 against the input of the correctness of the conclusion. As a result, the priority of rules can be automatically corrected to the optimum value with repetition of the inferring actions. Thus the correct conclusion is obtained as the result of inference.
