On the other hand, when there is a rapid start to move backwards, the several cylinders act as in an air engine and promote engine-speed, up independently of the combustion in the other combustion cylinders. Furthermore, the exhaust air which has operated in the air engine is utilized as a part of the combustion air in the other combustion cylinders.
