CONSTITUTION: A part detecting apparatus is formed by including an image sensing means 1, an edge detecting means 3, a processing-region determining means 4 and a positioning output means 5. Therefore, it is possible to gradually narrowing the processing region. Thus, the image processing time is gradually shortened, and the detecting speed of the part is increased.
