The counter 80 counts clock pulse 91 and delivers a carry output 81 when a prescribed time T' elapses. This output 81 resets a CPU20. If the program execution is faulty, the output 71 is fixed at 1 or 0. Then the CPU20 is reset when the time T' elapses from the final rise. The program is executed again after the reset state is released.
