Keyboard KB of input device 2-1 in this constitution consists of column key group 3-1 for the discrimination of each column of the Japanese syllabary and line key group 3-2 for each series of the Japanes syllabary; key group 3-1 is provided with five keys for the "a" column to "o" column, and key group 3-2 is with ten keys for the "a" series to "wa" series, so that desired "kana" characters will be supplied to control circuit 2-3 through the combinational operations for each series and each column.
