Further, the ringer transmitted from the exchange side through the input/ output terminal 15 is detected by a ringer detection circuit 31 and transmitted from a ringer transmission circuit 32 through an input/output terminal 10 to the telephone set side according to the result of the detection. Thus, this telephone set can be used for the normal two-line type subscriber line, as well.
