CONSTITUTION: A DC power supply 101 and an on-line circuit which supplies the output received from the power supply 101 to a DC motor 4 are added to a tape recorder which contains a reverse function and the motor 4 which drives a reel drive disk 14 and the 1st and 2nd capstan shafts 17. Furthermore a governer circuit 103 is added to revolve the motor 4 at a fixed speed to the fluctuation of the load after reception of the output of the power supply 101 together with a selection circuit which select the on-line circuit or the circuit 103 to drive the motor 4, and a switch circuit 102 which changes the revolving direction of the motor 4. Then the circuit 103 is selected by the selection circuit at record/reproduction. Thus the motor 4 is revolved at a fixed speed. While the motor 4 is revolved at a high speed with the output voltage of the power supply 101 when the on-line circuit is selected at fast forward. In such a way, the tape feeding speed is automatically changed.
