These actions are repeated so that the overall constitution is described on a screen. Then the user selects the knowledge items to be used as the knowledge component elements of a knowledge model needed for a knowledge base 106 out of those items displayed on the screen. A new knowledge component element is allocated to each selected item for acquisition of new knowledge component elements. The information on all input knowledge items is stored in the base 106 as the item component information 105 together with the new knowledge component elements. Thus the user describes each knowledge component element and stores it in the base 106.
