CONSTITUTION: A fuel oil compsn. obtd. by compounding light gas oil, deasphalted oil and heavy fuel oil. Said light gas oil may be, if necessary, adequately compounded with kerosine, heavy gas oil and cracking gas oil. The deasphalted oil to be used is pref. one obtd. by deasphalting a feed stock comprising a vacuum distillate or vacuum residue with a solvent such as propane, butane, kerosine or gas oil. 0.2W2pts.vol deasphalted oil is used for 100pts.vol. light gas oil. As the heavy fuel oil, an atmospheric residue, vacuum residue or the like is commonly used. 0.01W0.6pts.vol. heavy fuel oil is used for 100pts. wt. light gas oil.
