CONSTITUTION: A coating material comprising 35W95 parts by wt. of the sum of (A) 30W90 parts by wt. of a compound having one polymerizable unsaturated group which initiates polymerization by irradiation with actinic rays in one molecule and (B) 5W30 parts by wt. of a compound having the two or more groups in one molecule and a molecular weight ≥300 and the rest of a copolymer of styrene or its derivative, an unsaturated dibasic acid or its anhydride or ester is applied to a metallic material, immediately irradiated with actinic rays, and cured. An acrylic acid derivative having acryloyl group or a methacrylic acid derivative having a methacryloyl group, etc. may be cited as the compound having the polymerizable unsaturated group.
