CONSTITUTION: An agricultural component such as insecticide, fungicide or herbicide is dissolved or dispersed in an emulsion, dispersion or solution of a waxy substance, wherein the amount of the active ingredient is preferably in the range from 0.1 to 4pts.wt. per 1pt. of the waxy substance. Then, the product is combined with a water-soluble or water-dispersible substance such as urea, sodium sulfate or cane sugar as a diluent and preferably with a binder such as polyvinyl alcohol, then extruded into granules. The specific gravity of the waxy substance containing the active ingredient is controlled to become less than 1 after extrusion.
