CONSTITUTION: A germicidal composition containing 3,5-dimethyltetrahydro-2H-1,3, 5-thiadiazine-2-thione which is a soil disinfectant as an active constituent. The use of an adjuvant, e.g. a paraffin emulsion, high polymeric emulsion or vegetable oil emulsion further improves the controlling effect thereof. As for the pathogenic germs to be controlled by the composition, ripe rot of grapes, melanose of citrus fruits, anthracnose of grapes and persimmons, scab of peaches, etc may be cited, and the composition is used by applying or spraying on trunks and branches of tress.
