CONSTITUTION: A herbicidal suspension composition containing fine solid particles of at least one compound expressed by the formula (Alk is lower alkyl) as an active constituent, and fine solid particles having average particle diameter within 0.5W3μ range or 90% wt% or more, based on weight fraction, particles thereof having ≤5μ particle diameter of the active constituent particles. The fine particles are prepared by using either one of a dry pulverizer or wet pulverizer usually used in the method for fine pulverization. The resultant fine particles are preferably mixed with an adequate amount of a surfactant, a dispersing agent or further an aqueous solution of a viscosity increasing agent to float and suspend the fine particles stably in the suspension medium for a long term. A dispersion medium giving ≤500ppm solubility of the compound expressed by the formula at 25°C is preferably selected at the dispersion medium.
