CONSTITUTION: A polymer cement (preferably polymer: 5W30%, water and cement: 42%) in which Portland cement is added with watersoluble rubber latex (e.g. styrene-butadiene rubber etc.) or resin emulsion is filled into the interstice between the cable 1 and the covering tube 2 composed of polyethylene etc.
EFFECT: Cost become cheap, followability to the cable extention by the active load is improved and crack width decreases by using polymer cement, then effect of corrosion resistance can be markedly increased.
USE: It is mainly used for the suspension structure, such as the stayed-beam bridge, the suspended roof etc.
