The depression of a release button 9 causes the driving member 3 to move leftward thereby turning the lens-barrel 1. During this time, the distance is measured with a distance measuring device. The measurement completion signal energizes a magnet 12 to stop the driving member 3. At this time, a brush 14 is in the position corresponding to the measured value of the slide resistor 15, based on which the specified aperture diameter is set with the electronic circuit 20 and at this aperture diameter, flash photographing is accomplished.
