3 , 8pts.wt. hexamethylenetetramine, 1.5pts.wt. stearic acid and 1.5pts. wt. iron oxide, and crushed to obtain a brown phenolic resin material. 1pts.wt. melamine resin preliminarily adjusted to a disk flow value of 80W90mm by the addition of carbon black is added to 100pts.wt. said material to obtain a phenol resin molding compound. It is possible to continuously and stably obtain with good reproducibility a molded product having a grain pattern striped in black on a brown ground, by the injection molding of said compound in a conventional manner.
