CONSTITUTION: Org. waste water is allowed to flow in the first anaerobic filter bed tank to be subjected to primary anaerobic treatment and subsequently transferred to the second anaerobic filter bed tank to perform secondary anaerobic treatment. Next, the waste water is allowed to flow in an aerobic filter bed tank to perform aerobic treatment while the aerobically treated water is returned and recirculated to the second anaerobic filter bed tank, and the excessive sludge and washing waste water of the aerobic filter bed tank are returned to the first anaerobic filter bed tank. By this cycle, the solubilization of an org. substance and acid forming reaction are generated in the first anaerobic filter bed tank and denitrification reaction is promoted in the second anaerobic filter bed tank, and smooth finish treatment and nitration reaction are promoted in the aerobic filter bed tank. Therefore, the respective filter bed tanks certainly achieve their individual roles and efficient treatment is performed as a whole.
