CONSTITUTION: This biocontrol preparation for control or prevention of plant fungal diseases is obtained by sporulating a fungus effective for control of soilborne plant diseases or effective for the health maintenance of plants under conditions for growing the fungus and for producing resistant spores or other survival structures, mixing the sporulated biomass (preferably rich in shell-having spores) with a diluted acid to reduce bacterial contamination, mixing the biomass with a porous carrier (preferably vermiculite) and subsequently drying the mixture. The dried preparation is activated and subsequently applied to soil or growth medium or applied as a seed-coating material.
