CONSTITUTION: A germicidal coating agent, containing (A) 100pts.wt. edible fat or oil, e.g. vegetable fat or oil such as soybean oil or rapeseed oil, or animal fat or oil such as lard or fat, (B) 1W100pts.wt., preferably 5W50pts.wt. surfactant, e.g. lecithin, glycerol ester of a fatty acid, propylene glycol ester of a fatty acid or/and sucrose ester of a fatty acid, and (C) 1W50pts.wt., preferably 5W30pts.wt. ethyl alcohol as essential components, and capable of protecting human hands engaged in food production, etc., machines, tools, etc. used therefor sanitarily for a long time and preventing contamination of food, etc. and further roughening of hand skin.
