PROCESS: B-41H-producing bacteria belonging to Streptomyces genus, e.g. Streptomyces B-41-146 strain (FERM-P No.1438) are cultured in a liquid medium under aerobic conditions. The cultured product is filtered using a filter aid, and the objective substance is extracted from the obtained cake with methanol. The extract liquid is passed through a silica gel column to adsorb the objective substance, which is eluted and purified to obtain the compound of formula.
