1 in the posture (b). As a result, the bundle of sheets A
1 in the piling section 24 is supported at its upper end by the tumble prevention guide 20 and at its lower end by a pair of pins 26 which divide the interior of the piling secton 24 of a separately piling mechanism 3 and are moved depending on the quantity to be piled. Every predetermined number of sheets A are thus separately piled in vertical posture.
