摘要 | PURPOSE: To obtain a rapidly settable hydraulic binder of which the mass set at the time of using CaSO 4 -alpha hemihydrate as an essential component having a prescribed water resistance by adding and mixing foundry sand to and with the alpha hemihydrate so that its water resistance curve exhibits a positive gradient in a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION: The set mass of the CaSO 4 -alpha hemihydrate (material A) when a prescribed initial amt. of the material A is used as an rapidly setting component has a water resistance curve having the negative gradient in 28 days starting from the high initial hardness value of the rapid setting when the mass is stored in water. The foundry sand is, however, added and mixed to and with the material A and the mixture is finely milled. The amt. of the foundry sand is determined to meet the initial amt. of the material A to cause rapid setting. In succession, the formation of crystalline ettringite stone and calcium hydrosilicate phase begins so that the water resistance curve to the moment of the set mixture has a positive gradient anywhere during the first 28 days.
