TO 650*F. FOR A PERIOD OF TIME RANGING BETWEEN 1/4 AND 3 HOURS AND COOLING THE BELT TO ROOM TEMPERATURE TO PROVIDE IN THE HARDENED BELT A WARPWISE TENSILE STRENGTH OF ABOUT 300 LBS. PER INCH OF WIDTH WITH A WARPWISE BENDING FATIGUE RESISTENCE OF ABOUT 16,000 CYCLES TO FAILURE.
