The present invention relates to a chair to support the body of a user well in response to the position of the user using a chair or a stool. Particularly, the chair of the present invention is to provide adequate support for a person, who is sitting on the chair in front of a desk or a worktable to study or conduct research, thereby offering maximum comfort to the body and thus helping the person to maximize concentration. When a user is near a desk or a worktable and is keeping the spine straight, a lot of pressure is particularly applied to the front thigh of the user at the front of the chair. Therefore, the present invention allows a seat unit to naturally rotate forward or to be fixed in order to uniformly distribute the pressure applied to the thigh, thereby solving the above-mentioned problem. When the user bends the upper body backward to take a rest, the seat unit can rotate and be fixed. Therefore, the lower body of the user can be stably supported without the lower body being pushed forward. The upper body is supported by the back of the chair while the weight of the user is being distributed to both the seat unit and the back of the chair. Therefore, the chair provides a sense of security and comfort.
