221 Lowering type refuge bed JP21017995 1995-07-27 JPH0937897A 1997-02-10 YAMAMOTO MASASUKE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce injuries and death by pressure by supporting a base on a floor surface by a column and a beam and lowering the base to the inside of a frame by a base lowering mechanism. SOLUTION: When an earthquake sensing mechanism 4a senses a quake set beforehand, a lock mechanism 3b is moved to the outer part of an earthquake-proof frame, the lick of the lowering of a bed 1 is release and the bed 1 is lowered from the state of being supported on the floor surface to the inside of the frame of a refuge room 2. As a result, the bed 1 is promptly, surely and stably lowered to the inside of the frame of the refuge room 2 and falls down on a first air bag device 7 by the guidance of a guide roller 6 pivoted along the column 2a. Thus, even when furniture arranged near the bed 1 falls down to the bed 1 by the occurrence of an earthquake, the bed 1 is lowered to the inside of the earthquake-proof frame inside the refuge room 2 and falling directly on the bed 1 is prevented by the column 2a and the beam 2b for constituting the earthquake-proof frame. Then, the possibility of getting a person sleeping on bedding injured or crushed to death is reduced.
222 Protection bed against earthquake disaster JP16783295 1995-06-12 JPH08336442A 1996-12-24 ISHII KOJI; TAMADA MASANORI
PURPOSE: To protect a sleeper against an accident in which he is trapped under a collapsed roof by routinely using an air film mat inflated up to the height of an upper surface inside a frame and releasing the air from the air film mat at the emergency time of an earthquake. CONSTITUTION: This protection bed consists of the flame 1 of a bed, an air film mat 2 and an exhaust device 3, and is useful for a comfortable sleep with the help of the air film mat 2 inflated to the height of an upper surface 1U in the frame 1. In addition, when an emergency case occurs that an earthquake of high magnitude which collapses the upstairs or roofs of a house or topples furniture such as shelves, hits, the air film mat 2 is contracted by releasing the air from the mat 2, using an exhaust device 3, then a sleeper is lowered into the frame 1 of the bed durably structured, through the center of the upper surface 1U, and is accommodated inside the frame 1. On the other hand, the upstairs or roofs of a house collapsed by the earthquake or the toppled furniture are supported by the frame 1. Thus the sleeper accommodated inside the frame 1 is prevented from becoming trapped under the debris by the protection bad.

PURPOSE: To provide a more simple and cheaper means for saving lives from house collapse due to an earthquake during sleeping. CONSTITUTION: A top board part 1 is supported by four supporting pipes 2, and a bed is housed in a space below the top plate part. The supporting pipe is composed of upper/lower part supporting pipes 4, 5 which are connected to each other sliding-movably toward an axial direction. The lower supporting pipe is connected by means of a connecting pipe 10. This life-saving frame is provided with a loop-shaped compressed air supplying duct which passes through each inner part of the connecting pipe and the lower supporting pipe. An air bag is arranged on the upper direction of the compressed air supplying duct inside the lower supporting pipe, and is connected to he compressed air supplying duct. The lower end face of the upper supporting pipe is closed and a projection for breaking through the air bag is provided on the lower end face. The top plate part and upper part supporting pipe are supported by means of the air bag via a spring, and the projection of the upper part supporting pipe is arranged at an interval with the air bag.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a disaster prevention function to a commercially available bed, so as not to allow the bed to be an obstacle in a daily life without the occurrence of an earthquake. SOLUTION: A plurality of U shape members to be vertically disposed over the commercially available bed are prepared with the use of steel pipes, etc., and then, the body parts of the members are covered with a high-strength nonwoven fabric. The same number of members are stored by superimposition on both sides of the bed in a normal situation. The members are rapidly raised from both sides based on an emergency earthquake report or the signal of an earthquake vibration sensor, etc., so as to form a substantially semi-cylindrical shelter over the bed. When the earthquake vibration is terminated, the members are returned to a normal state and stored on both sides of the bed. Thus, the disaster prevention function is imparted to various kinds of commercially available beds. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
