21 Conveyer equipment in treatment portion JP11222683 1983-06-21 JPS602517A 1985-01-08 ONODERA KUNIHIKO
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a turning device at an outlet portion by disposing a bypass at the outlet portion in addition to a conveyer apparatus piercing through a treatment chamber. CONSTITUTION:Conveyer equipment in a treatment portion comprises a treatment portion conveyer apparatus 3 which is pierced through a treatment chamber 1 and adapted to convey a treated article 13 lengthwise and a main conveyer apparatus 11 extending from an inlet portion 6 of the treatment chamber 1, bypassing the outside of the treatment chamber 1 and passing through an outlet portion 8. The main conveyer apparatus 11 is disposed perpendicular to the conveying direction of the treatment portion conveyer apparatus 3 at the outlet portion 8. Accordingly, the longitudinal direction of the treated article 13 fed out to the outlet portion 8 by the treatment portion conveyer apparatus 3 is perpendicular to the conveying direction of the main conveyer apparatus 11, so that the article can be transferred as it is to the main conveyer apparatus without changing the direction. This arrangement can eliminate the need of a turning device 16 at the outlet portion.
22 Conveyer equipment in treatment chamber JP11222783 1983-06-21 JPS602508A 1985-01-08 SEKIYA TADASHI
PURPOSE:To prevent paints and dust from adhering to a main line and to convey an article to be treated in a treatment chamber at high speed by providing a shuttle conveyer apparatus with tables capable of elevating and reciprocating which are disposed by fixed pitches in the treatment chamber separately from the main conveyer. CONSTITUTION:A treated article 12 conveyed by a main conveyer apparatus 11 is transferred to a fixed cradle 7 on inlet side by an inlet side transfer loader 13 and carried in a treatment chamber 1 by a shuttle conveyer 3 to be intermittently conveyed by fixed pitches P. The article 12 conveyed by a fixed pitch is caught by a fixed cradle 5 to be subjected to various kinds of treatments, and on completion of treatments, the article is carried out from the treatment chamber 1 by the conveyer apparatus 3 to be delivered to an outlet side cradle 9 and be transferred to the main conveyer apparatus 11 by an outlet side transfer loader 14. In this arrangement, the conveyer apparatus is not passed through the treatment chamber, so that paints and dust are not adhered to the main conveyer apparatus, which can prevent loss of drying energy or the occurrence of trouble such as engagement with the conveyer, and the article is conveyed in shuttle system in the treatment chamber, which can accomplish high-speed conveying operation.
23 Automatic continuous air supply equipment JP17513881 1981-10-30 JPS5878907A 1983-05-12 YAMADA MASANORI
PURPOSE:To continuously supply air without leakage of air by disposing along a main line a loop-like air hose with a path moving synchronously with the main line, which is provided with air supply units mounted at equal intervals. CONSTITUTION:When air supply units 7, 8 reach a position (i), a holder 29 is raised by action of the second cam surface 34 to clamp the units 7, 8. At this time, air is transported through a hose 21, a rotary joint 20, an air path 19 and a vinyl tube 26 to a supply coupler 25. When the units reach a position (ii), a limit valve is turned on by action of the first cam surface 33 to supply air in the tube 26 through a branch pipe 28 to a cylinder device 24, which results in lowering the supply coupler 25 to be connected to a receiver coupler 13, so that air is supplied to a hose 9.

34 Universal dough cutting and packing apparatus US476861 1995-06-07 US5535575A 1996-07-16 James K. Finkowski; Jack Reisa; Robert E. Meyer; Glenn O. Rasmussen
A dough cutting and packing apparatus capable of processing and packaging dough products of differing dimensions includes a plurality of cutting plates supported adjacent one another to form an endless cutting unit. A container positioning mechanism positions a plurality of containers relative to the openings to receive the dough pieces after they are removed by the reciprocating packing mechanism. A servo motor drive actuation of both the cutter bar indexing drive system and the container advancement system allows for accurate positioning by reprogramming the servo drive for a particular product dimension rather than mechanically changing over to alternate equipment. A self-contained container advancement module can be removed and replaced with another container module suitable for delivering containers of different dimensions. A removable sprocket and chain system are dedicated to cutter bars of a particular size such that significant retooling is not required to change cutter bars and support chains in order to process dough products of different dimensions.

38 Handling system for lightweight containers including ballast dispenser US595585 1990-10-11 US5159960A 1992-11-03 Frank G. Pringle
Lightweight containers such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) beverage bottles are rendered stable for conveyance on a horizontal conveyor by addition of water ballast. Ballast in the amount of about 3 to 10% of the bottle volume is sufficient to enable increased production line speed with fewer bottle jams due to the lightweight bottles falling over. The bottles are arranged upright, for example at the outlet of a depalletizer, and loaded with ballast from a reservoir or pressurized supply of water. Preferably, the bottles are loaded in a group and a plurality of valves having valve bodies on a movable common support open simultaneously. The ballast is removed at the bottle rinsing station, which inverts the bottles to drain the ballast as well as rinse water.
39 Soiled-dishes handling apparatus US235677 1972-03-17 US3944093A 1976-03-16 Maurice Bergeron
The handling dishes and like articles before washing them comprises the transport of the articles on special trays formed with bottom apertures permitting the passage therethrough of members for driving, lifting and tilting the articles by moving the members in a vertical plane. Thus, the articles are picked up from the trays and dropped onto a transfer path or another conveyor directing them to the washing means. The apparatus has retractable stop means for retaining the trays during the removal of the articles carried thereby, lever arms adapted to engage the tray apertures, and guide means for directing the thus removed dish articles to the transfer path or other conveyor.
