The invention is a snowmobile ski that is adapted to accommodate wheel units that are movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The floor of the ski has one or more wheel openings, which allow wheels to drop down to the deployed position. A wheel unit may have a single wheel or two wheels in tandem. The wheel units may be mounted on the kingpin, the side wall, inner ribs, or on the steering spindle. A snow guard is provided on the ski body, to prevent snow or ice from hindering operation of the wheel unit.

23 Furniture slide US09441713 1999-11-16 US06206424B1 2001-03-27 Donald J. Edwards; Donald V. Edwards
A furniture slide for moving furniture over a floor surface and also serving to provide foam drying blocks under the furniture for placement on wet carpet surfaces. The furniture slide of the present invention includes a sheet of material having a convex bottom base for sliding on a floor surface and further includes compressible material that is adhered to the top face of the sheet for support contact with the furniture to be moved. This compressible material is precut whereby a plug of the compressible material may be readily removed therefrom to provide a cavity in the compressible material. Then a slightly thicker Styrofoam drying block, which is dimensioned for insertion into this cavity, is inserted into the cavity. The drying block has an upper surface with a sticky adhesive so that the drying block sticks and remains adhered to the supported furniture when the remainder of the furniture slide is removed. The slide sheet is further provided with an upturned perimeter edge.
24 Ski and mount for four wheel vehicle US52642 1987-05-20 US4754832A 1988-07-05 John W. Allen; Douglas D. Banghart
A single ski is disclosed for central mounting under a four wheel vehicle, preferably a vehicle having four wheel drive. This single ski is mounted to the underside of the vehicle and includes a jacking mechanism for raising and lowering the ski in parallel relation with respect to the snow covered ground. The single ski extends longitudinally of the vehicle, centrally between the wheels on the left side of the vehicle and the wheels on the right side of the vehicle. The length and width of the ski is sufficient to remove substantially equal weight from both the front and rear tires of the vehicle. The surface area of the ski is sufficient to maintain the depth of the ski at a level no lower than the lowest point of the tires in soft or powder snow. In operation, the ski is lowered a sufficient distance to remove weight evenly from the wheels of the vehicle to an extent that the tires no longer accumulate a blocking drift of snow in their path of advance. Thereafter, the driving wheels provide propulsion and some support while the ski provides the requisite lubrication for firm, safe and stable support over the snow. The tires of the vehicle co-act with the single ski to produce driving and steering outriggers to prevent capsizing of the vehicle. Provision for steering of the vehicle is made either by conventional steering of the front steering wheels or alternately by providing for articulation of the vehicle supported ski responsive to vehicle steering.

34 Trailer for personal motorcraft US649741 1991-02-01 US5119752A 1992-06-09 Mark Doherty
The personal motorcraft trailer has a lower shell which is capable of flotation and planing on a body of water. An upper shell has a lip which fits over the edge of the lower shell forming a sealed pod in which gear and supplies may be stored. At least a portion of the upper shell is openably attached by a hinge. The upper shell has two recessed areas in its upper surface, the rear recessed area being deep enough for holding fuel containers and the forward recessed area being relatively shallow and concave to accept gear such as surfboards or skis which are held in place by elastic cords stretched across the gear from hooks on the sides of the upper shell. The trailer is towed behind the motorcraft by a tongue the prongs of which attach at two clips, one on either side of the lower shell. Each prong of the tongue catches under the lip at the front of the trailer to prevent the trailer from digging into the water, causing it to flip. The shells of the trailer are molded of lightweight plastic or similar polymer to make the trailer easy to lift and transport. In an alternate embodiment for use with snowmobiles, the same structure as above is fitted with skis or rails on its bottom surface to permit the trailer to move smoothly through snow or on ice.
35 Antiskid device for tire US452948 1982-12-27 US4476907A 1984-10-16 Chuichiro Odawara
An antiskid device and its fittings for a tire including a side chain, a cross chain, a connector, an end link, a hook and a stopper. The side chain includes a side link formed as a two-piece link having two links, one a long link and the other a short link, which are integral with each other. The stopper is angled in transverse cross section and formed with a transverse web of a width large enough to contact a lower portion of the end link and a groove of a width large enough to receive the hook. The cross chain is formed as a cross link of bar material, and the connector is in the form of a link on either end and in the form of a rod in its intermediate portion so that the connector is connected at one end to the cross link and at the other end to the side link.
36 Front suspension and steering system for cycles and motorcycles having two interdependent points of support on the ground US203957 1980-11-04 US4375293A 1983-03-01 Francisco Solbes
The present invention relates to a suspension and steering system enabling the road holding, braking efficiency and safety of presently known cycles and motorcycles of all types, on wheels or on skis, to be increased, while maintaining their capacity to bank when cornering, their handling ability and small dimensions. This system is composed of the combination of two sub-systems:--the suspension sub-system intended to carry two wheels or two skis, comprises: (a) a mechanism composed of two forks, two pairs of guide shafts, and two supports. The forks move over the guide shafts which are fixed to the supports; (b) a mechanism composed of a support, a rocking arm and a handle bar. This arm rocks on the axis of the support and allows the interdependent displacements of the forks;--the steering sub-system is intended on the one hand to carry the above mentioned mechanisms of the suspension sub-system and on the other hand to be articulated on the frame at the steering column and the reinforcing arm. It is composed of the devices which form the central shaft.
