A system in which wallet-sized visually readable information relating to a person is created on material disposed on one side of a wallet-size card and machine readable information relating to the person is recorded on a laser recordable optical data storage strip disposed on the opposite side of the card. The visually readable information may be a fingerprint or face photograph created by conventional photography or with a laser. The data storage strip is disposed in the card and may be a pre-formed strip of laser recording material. Information spots recorded on the strip may be insurance, medical, banking, security or other transaction information. Both the machine readable information and the eye readable information are read simultaneously by two optical systems, one disposed on each side of the card.
102 Manufacturing method of memory card capable of receiving photographic image and card thus obtained JP27144691 1991-10-18 JPH05169883A 1993-07-09 RUNE ROOZU
PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture of an electronic memory card by sticking an electronic module after forming a card body which is prepared by injecting a clear synthetic resin into the cavity of a mold on a photographic substrate while the photographic substrate is kept adhering to the bottom of the mold with the absorbing force of a pump, and hardening. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing an electronic memory card, a high-speed developing photographic substrate 36 is placed on the face 22 of a mold part 14. The photographic substrate 36 is a sequential laminate of a protective sheet, a photographic film and a photograph developing paper, and the surface 36b of the developing paper is covered with a display 38 (logo, desired pattern, etc., of company). This photographic substrate 36 is made to adhere to the face 22 by absorbing force working at openings 28 by the actuation of a pump assembly 34. While adhesion is kept, a mold part 12 is closed, and a clear plastic material is injected into the cavity 16 through the injecting nozzle 26, and hardened to form a card body. Then the card body is taken out of the mold, and is stuck with an electronic module to give an electronic memory card. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
103 Id card which allows reading by infrared light JP12226789 1989-05-16 JPH0250153A 1990-02-20 SUDA YOSHIHIKO; OBAYASHI KEIJI
PURPOSE:To allow the simultaneous formation of an image which can be read by IR light and a visible color image by having a part recorded with information by the color image and the part recorded with information by the image which is formed by a color development processing and can be identified by IR light. CONSTITUTION:While only the high-sensitivity emulsion is exposed by using relatively weak light in the color image forming part, even the low-sensitivity emulsion is exposed by using relatively strong light in the part requiring reading by the IR light in case of using, for example, only the negative type silver halide emulsion. Such imagewise exposing that only the high-sensitivity emulsion is exposed is executed in the part requiring the reading by the IR light and such imagewise exposing that even the low-sensitivity emulsion is exposed in the color image forming part is executed in case of using a direct positive type silver halide emulsion. The image which can be read by the IR light and the visible color image are simultaneously formed in this way.

105 Production for patterned fresnel hologram JP8381682 1982-05-18 JPS58200275A 1983-11-21 TANIGUCHI YUKIO
PURPOSE:To produce easily a pattern-shaped Fresnel hologram which is difficult to forge and is easily distinguished from false holograms and is superior in decorativity, by providing a pattern-shaped Fresnel hologram. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive substrate exposed to an interference light is exposed to a light 9 for exposure through a mask pattern 8. Though a proper light-transmissive pattern can be used as the mask pattern, a pattern matched not to damage the transmission pattern is desirable. Ultraviolet rays, especially, rays having 0.25-0.45mum wavelength emitted from a light source such as an extra-high pressure mercury vapor lamp, a high pressure mercury vapor lamp, a low pressure mercury vapor lamp, a carbon arc, a xenon arc, or the like are used desirably as the light 9 for exposure, and it is desirable that irradiation is so performed that the integral exposure is >=10mJ/cm<2>. By this exposure through the mask pattern, a photosensitive resin layer in parts exposed to light is decomposed when the photosensitive resin layer is positive, and this photosensitive resin layer in these parts is hardened when the photosensitive resin layer is negative, and the pattern-shaped Fresnel hologram is obtained by the development using a developer.
106 Manufacture of card-shaped information supporter and information supporter prepared through said manufacture JP12521782 1982-07-20 JPS5865698A 1983-04-19 BERUNERU FUOKUTO
A method for producing an information carrier in the form of a card, such as an identification card or pass, as well as an information carrier produced in accordance with this method. The information carrier comprises a plurality of plastic layers combined with one another into a block, at least one of which contains a photograph of the bearer and/or his fingerprint and/or other readable or machine-readable data in the form of a photographic layer. This photographic layer is produced and incorporated into the sandwich of plastic layers making up the identification card in that a specially prepared film is exposed to light, developed, fixed and dries, and then the carrier layer of this film sandwich is removed from the emulsion after the emulsion has entered into an adhesive bond with a first plastic carrier layer, this adhesion being substantially greater than the adhesion of the emulsion to the film's auxiliary carrier, which is to be removed.

The tamperproof document consists of a photographic material as information carrier which is laminated on one or both sides with a transparent foil. The foil is attached to the surface of the information carrier by a layer of adhesive containing poly-1,2-alkyleneimine. The document is eminently saft against falsification.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium that is hardly forged and altered.
SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an information recording medium includes steps of: forming, on a support, a recording layer 8 containing a polymer compound having an azobenzene structure; irradiating the recording layer with first writing light to form a first light-diffracting structure 10 having a concavo-convex pattern on the surface; fixing the concavo-convex pattern by forming a deformation preventing layer 11 on the surface of the recording layer; and irradiating the recording layer having the fixed concavo-convex pattern with second writing light to forcedly inhibit deformation caused by the movement of molecules, thereby forming a second light-diffracting structure having a refractive index change inside the recording layer.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

An identification card having photographically recorded individualizing data is provided. The photographically recorded data are interspersed with a security pattern in transparent ink. This pattern is printed onto the photographic layer before the photographic data are recorded. The photographic recording process is carried out in such a way that there is no darkening under the security pattern. The security pattern, recognizable through the transparent printing ink, is thus also impressed upon the photographically recorded data.
