PURPOSE: To obtain a proof print close to the final printing condition. CONSTITUTION: This is an apparatus for forming an image by irradiating light which causes a photochemical action to a writing member. This apparatus comprises means for selectively supplying donor sheets and receiver sheets independently to a writing platen or drum 18 by a paper feeding carrousel 30, and selectively load and unload the donor sheets from superposition with the receiver sheet without disturbing the registration of the receiver sheet. This apparatus also contains a conveying section 16 which has a relatively low cost and small vibration as well as constituting elements affecting formed image quality such as a writing head 20 and a driving section for an imaging drum.

PURPOSE: To provide a proof printer capable of obtaining a proof print close to the final state of printing. CONSTITUTION: An imaging system irradiates a light capable of generating a photochemical reaction with respect to the writing element and forming an image. The apparatus includes a roll supply to supply a donor material and a receiver material independently to a writing platen or drum 18 and a means selectively to load and unload the donor sheets from superposition with the receiver sheets without disturbing the registration of the receiver sheet, and components such as a carrier 16 which is comparatively inexpensive and vibrationless, driving units for a writing head 20 and an image formation drum. The apparatus draws out a part of the sheets from the roll and cuts it in a predetermined length after measuring it.

144 Apparatus for supplying web-like material to processing station JP26282489 1989-10-07 JPH02152854A 1990-06-12 FURANTSU BUINGAATAA
PURPOSE: To partially supply a weblike material by advancing a web to a processing station in a guide groove by a drive mechanism, to precess and cut the front portion of the web, and then separating the front portion from the processing station to retreat the front end. CONSTITUTION: A feed roller 9 is driven by a control signal, and a rocker 11 is pivotally driven via a pivotally mounted pin 12 to move a guide groove groove for housing a web 4 toward the direction of the roller 9. The groove passes through the opening part 10 of a guide plate 7, to push the web 4 to a guide plate 8; concurrently a projection 15 is separated, and the paper web 4 proceeds by the rotating roller 9 to be positioned within a printing means when the front edge is sensed by an optical barrier 17. The front end of the printed web 4 is cut and then retreats in the guide groove by inverting the rotation direction of the roller 9. After the roller 9 is stopped, the rocker 11 is positioned at the center position to release the roller 9 from an engaged condition in the guide groove, and the web 4 is clamped by a projection 15. 147 Thermal transfer type recorder JP8740783 1983-05-20 JPS59214674A 1984-12-04 SAIKI EISAKU; KAWACHI MASATAKA
PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer type recorder capable of preventing deformation, e.g., wrinkle, strain, warping, etc., of a paper when transporting a lapped set of carbon paper and recording paper by turning the shafts of both rotors in a transport section provided on the backward flow side of a recording section through a drive source. CONSTITUTION:A transport roller 8 and a contact roller 9 are turned through a motor 11 by matching the timing of writing command, and a recording paper 14 and a carbon paper 13 held between both the rollers 8 and 9 are integrally delivered to the rear side (in the direction of arrow G). As the recording paper 14 moves, a platen 7 is also turned, a tension is given to the recording paper 14 and the carbon paper 13, and both the papers 14 and 13 are delivered in a closely contacted state.

A double-paper-roll printing device, comprising an installation frame (13) for installing the following components and paper rolls (6). A first paper roll (61) and a second paper roll (62) are installed on the installation frame (13) through a paper roll supporting shaft (14). Paper tapes of the first paper roll (61) and the second paper roll (62) are selectively fed to a printing component (01) through paper passages. The first paper roll (61) and the second paper roll (62) are selectively fed to the printing component (01) through a first paper passage (02) and a second paper passage (03) that are mutually independent. The first paper passage (02) and the second paper passage (03) are mutually overlapped. The tail end of the first paper passage (02) and the tail end of the second paper passage (03) form an intersecting end, and paper tape heads of the paper rolls enter the printing component (01) through the intersecting end. The passages of the device are completely open and convenient to maintain, the requirement for the replacement operation space of the paper rolls is low, and miniaturization of the equipment is facilitated.

Many holes are formed in a platen that is so disposed as to confront a printing head. A suction fan disposed under the platen generates suction force through the holes formed in the platen to thereby bring a paper into close contact with a surface of the platen. On a back surface of the platen, disposed is an airflow restriction plate formed with openings that correspond to a part of the holes in the platen. Before a leading edge of the paper arrives at the platen, the airflow restriction plate closes the holes. In association with a conveyance of the paper, the airflow restriction plate moves in a paper conveyance direction on the back surface of the platen and, at the same time, opens the closed holes sequentially from upstream in the paper conveyance direction. This can restrict inflow of air into the holes located downstream, in the paper conveyance direction, of the leading edge of the paper.
