PURPOSE: To apply printing to two-ply copy fanfold paper to process the same by providing a printer for applying printing to two-ply continuous form paper, a feed for sending the continuous form paper, a paper sheet separator for separating the continuous form paper into respective paper sheets and a stacker folding separated paper sheets to stack them. CONSTITUTION: Paper 301 is separated into respective paper sheets by wedging a part of a separation bar into the gap between two paper sheets 306, 308 before printing and the separated paper sheets 306, 308 are combined in a passage 314 for applying printing by a printer 312. The printer 312 applies printing to two paper sheets 306, 308 passing through the passage 314 simultaneously and runs to form two same paper sheets. A deflector cover 316 is attached to an upper tray 318 and also attached to a paper guide 322 and the passage 320 between the upper tray 318 and the paper guide 322 deflects the second paper sheet 308 to precisely fold the same on a stack 328 to deposit the same. The first paper sheet 306 advances on a paper guide 322 to issue from a printing and processing apparatus 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of paper feeding jam, in printing apparatus wherein double layered recording paper is fed by a single supplying roll, by providing a means for accommodating slackened part of the recording paper on the outside in an accommodating part of the paper feeding roll. CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of journal paper 27 and 29 are placed in two layers and wound around a paper feeding roll 13. The paper is fed to paper feeding rollers 19 and 21 through the lower side of an edge part 15 of a bail 17, and further fed to the part between a platen 23 and a print head 25. At this time, since the outer journal paper 27 is slightly longer than the inner journal paper 29, the paper 27 is unwound by that extra length, and gradually stored. Thus the slack 33 is yielded. The movement of said slack 33 is restricted by a flexible belt shaped web 35, which is attached to the back wall of a feed roll accommodating chamber 11 from a edge part 15 of a bail 17, and the slack 33 is accommodated on the side of the back wall of a accommodating chamber 11. When the paper feeding roll 13 is to be replaced, the bail 17 is pivotally moved around a hinge rod 37. COPYRIGHT: (C)1983,JPO&Japio

The invention relates to multilane printer (2) for printing packaging material. The printer (2) comprises a first lane (3) for packaging material, a second lane (4) for packaging material, and a printer head (11) arranged in connection with said lanes (3, 4). The lanes (3, 4) are arranged laterally offset in an overlapping manner, such that the printer head (11) is able to simultaneously print on at least a portion of the packaging material travelling in each lane (3, 4). The invention also relates to a multilane wrapping machine (1) and a method for simultaneously printing a plurality of lanes (3, 4, 5, 6) for packaging material using one single printer head (11). |

9 | DOUBLE-PAPER-ROLL PRINTING DEVICE | EP15829967.7 | 2015-07-27 | EP3178658A1 | 2017-06-14 | PANG, Kaiyin; PAN, Jinming; WU, Aiming; GUAN, Zeyan |
A double-paper-roll printing device, comprising an installation frame (13) for installing the following components and paper rolls (6). A first paper roll (61) and a second paper roll (62) are installed on the installation frame (13) through a paper roll supporting shaft (14). Paper tapes of the first paper roll (61) and the second paper roll (62) are selectively fed to a printing component (01) through paper passages. The first paper roll (61) and the second paper roll (62) are selectively fed to the printing component (01) through a first paper passage (02) and a second paper passage (03) that are mutually independent. The first paper passage (02) and the second paper passage (03) are mutually overlapped. The tail end of the first paper passage (02) and the tail end of the second paper passage (03) form an intersecting end, and paper tape heads of the paper rolls enter the printing component (01) through the intersecting end. The passages of the device are completely open and convenient to maintain, the requirement for the replacement operation space of the paper rolls is low, and miniaturization of the equipment is facilitated. |

© In a printer a bail (17) is attached to a wall of a supply chamber (11) which contains a single supply roll (13). The bail has a pivot (37) which allows the bail to pivot for providing access to the supply roll. A flexible web (35) has one end attached to the wall of the supply chamber and the other end attached to a forward edge (15) of the bail, and moves with the bail to resiliently contain blousing (33) of paper from the supply roll. |

12 | Device for transport of multi-layer, edge-perforated imprint-receiving substrates | US619064 | 1990-11-27 | US5061096A | 1991-10-29 | Wolfgang Hauslaib; Gunter Gomoll; Ulrich Buschmann |
A device for the transport of multilayer, edge-perforated imprint-receiving substrates (8) takes into consideration a curve-shaped transport path (9), wherein a thrust tractor pair (5) is disposed in front and ahead of a substrate support (2), as seen in transport direction (10). Several friction roller pairs are following to the thrust tractor pair (5). In each case, a pulling force is transferrable by way of at least one friction roller. The multilayer imprint-receiving substrate (8) rests with its rear layer (8a) on the substrate support (2). A tearing of the edge perforations of the imprint-receiving substrate (8) as well as belly and bulge formations of one of the two layers (8a, 8b) is avoided by furnishing the push tractor (5) with a braking element (19) for the front layer (8b). A following first friction roller pair (11) rests with a driven friction roller (11a) at the front layer (8b). This friction roller (11a) performs a slightly smaller motion path per time unit relative to the counter friction roller (11b). However, the counter friction roller (11b), resting at the rear layer (8a), performs a slightly larger motion path relative to the tractor advance path.
13 | Multiple sheet ticket printer | US46935474 | 1974-05-13 | US3890893A | 1975-06-24 | KODIS ROBERT D |
A device comprising a rotatable print cylinder having rows of raised symbols disposed about its periphery in arcuate columns and an impactor assembly having ballistic elements cooperating with each row of raised symbols for columnar printing of selected symbols in rows on an endless web of multiple sheet ticket stock. The sheets are bound at selected intervals and are formed with sprocket holes disposed in spaced parallel relationship with the longitudinal axis at the margins thereof. The ticket stock is advanced into engagement with a rotating cutter assembly and into registration with the print drum and ballistic elements by means of a sprocket drive mechanism. The rotating cutter assembly separates the sprocketed margins from the ticket body. Symbols are printed when selected ballistic elements urge the ticket stock against selected raised symbols as the ticket is incrementally advanced by the sprocket drive mechanism, certain ones of the sheets being provided with a carbon backing. Upon completion of the printing cycle, the ticket stock is sheared by a solenoid actuated rotary cutter. Thereafter, the printed ticket is propelled from the device by means of an ejection mechanism.
