In conventional cable cars for personal transport, there is no possibility to alter the position or angle of a support cable to extend the operational space. In transport cable cars support devices for the support cable suspensions must be run along the ground or turned in a complex manner. According to the invention, a running track (4) is fixed to a support (6) with a fixed mounting device (7) by tie bars (3) with a carriage (2) arranged to run thereon. The end of the support cable (1) is fixed to said carriage (2). Alternatively the support cable end can be fixed to a rotating support. By moving the support cable end the support cable (1) can be brought into any position or angle and this permits a more flexible use and extended operational space. The variability of the support cable position is suitable for pleasure cable cars and for personal and goods transport in cable cars.

55 Object movement control apparatus and method US15552169 2016-02-19 US10086297B2 2018-10-02 Henry Van Asch; David Mitchell; Tim Porter; Geoff Wilson; Kevin Andrew Wright
Described herein is an apparatus and method to convey an object through the air in a controlled and repeatable manner. The apparatus may comprise an object attached to at least one resilient member, the resilient member or members constraining object movement in a substantially vertical y-axis direction. The apparatus may also comprise at least one support member coupled to the at least one resilient member, and the support member or members constrain object movement in a substantially horizontal x-axis direction. In use, the resilient member is energized, movement initiated, and object movement then occurs in both an x-axis and y-axis direction, the movement path substantially governed by the resilient member(s) and the support member(s). The apparatus and method may allow the object to experience a variety of movement sensations, one being the feeling of flight or gliding.
56 MULTI-LEVEL PLAY EQUIPMENT US15926303 2018-03-20 US20180272172A1 2018-09-27 Michael Browning, JR.
A play apparatus has plural types of elevated equipment, namely a ropes course and a zip coaster. Both types of elevated equipment have respective user safety supports that extend along the respective equipment and receive a safety harness worn by a user. The user need not change safety harnesses to use the different types of equipment. The entry and exit locations for the elevated equipment are in a common area elevated above the ground. A third type of equipment, namely an obstacle course, is located under and above the common area.
57 TOP-LOAD ZIP LINE TROLLEYS WITH VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL US15881549 2018-01-26 US20180214782A1 2018-08-02 Donald Andrew HACKETT
A top-load trolley with speed control system is disclosed. The trolley has a housing of metal plates with a series of fixed and movable parts mounted between. A number of rollers are moveably mounted in-line within the housing such that they may ride atop of a zip line and support the weight of the trolley and a passenger. An additional roller is placed in opposition to the load-bearing rollers, arranged to contact the zip line along its underside. Thus, at least three rollers may be configured to produce an adjustable amount of friction on the zip line, thereby providing a more controlled speed down a zip line course. Additionally, an emergency brake mechanism that may be used in conjunction with the top-load trolley with speed control system is disclosed.
58 Zipwire trolley braking US15067742 2016-03-11 US10023208B2 2018-07-17 Kevin Brown
A zipwire trolley having a plurality of zipwire engaging rollers, a swivelable brake block assembly adjacent to one of the rollers, the brake block having a zipwire-engaging cam by which the roller can be at least partially lifted off the zipwire when the trolley is moving in a rearward direction, the cam having a pair of tapered sidewalls tending to pinch respectively opposite sides of the upper part of the zipwire as the brake block progressively rotates when the trolley is moving in a rearward direction, thereby preventing or inhibiting further rearward movement of the trolley.
59 PLAY CENTER USING STRUCTURAL MONOLITHS FOR WATER DELIVERY CAPABILITIES US15812711 2017-11-14 US20180133606A1 2018-05-17 Rick A. Briggs; Ryan G. Snyder
A play structure having one or more monolith structures for the connection of other surfaces (e.g., deckings, water-based elements, interactive elements, etc.). Each of the monolith structures may be adjustably connected with a ground surface such that a variety of possible angles may be obtained by the monolith with respect to the ground surface. After the desired orientation of the monolith is obtained to the ground surface via the adjustable connection, the monolith may be secured in such position. Water or other fluid may be provided to the monolith structures via piping that interfaces with the monolith structures by a fluid connection that is in communication with piping disposed within the monolith structures. A fluid dumping or delivery system (e.g., based upon a tipping element that provides water to a fluid flowing surface and/or other water dispersion element) may be provided as part of the play structure.
60 System for Controlling the Use of An Exercise Course by a Person in a Climbing Park US15531062 2015-11-25 US20170326429A1 2017-11-16 Philipp STRASSER; Klaus BORNACK
A system for controlling use of an exercise course by a person in a climbing park has a guiding element, which extends along a longitudinal direction and along which a person can move between a connecting section of the guiding element and a disconnecting section of the guiding element. A securing device is movably attachable along the guiding element between the connecting section and the disconnecting section. The securing device is connectable to the guiding element in the connecting section and is disconnectable from the guiding element in the disconnecting section. An identification device is configured such that, by the identification device, at least a connecting of the securing device within the identification section is identifiable, such that an occupancy of the guiding element with another person is identifiable therewith. An actuating device of the securing device is controllable with the identification device, such that the actuating device of the securing device is adjustable in a clearance position and, upon identification of the occupancy of the guiding element by another person, in a blocking mode. The actuating device of the securing device is coupled with the securing device, such that, in the blocking mode, a connecting of the securing device in the connecting section and/or a displacing of the securing device along the guiding element is blocked.
