A games table features a unique corner assembly in which upper and lower corner members respectively embrace about upper and lower edges of an elongated perimeter frame member of the table and are clamped together to secure the frame member in place. Matable male and female features on the corner assemblies also enable stacking of two table top units to enable convenient switching of a games table between two modes of game play.

A rebounding ball game comprising a circular planar horizontal court 12 and a deflecting element 32 having a spherical concave rebound surface 34 mounted generally orthogonal to the court 12, such that a substantial portion of the rebound surface 34 extends above the court 12 and a substantial portion of the court 12 extends forwardly of the rebound surface 34. Players position themselves on generally opposite sides of the court 12 forwardly of the rebound surface 34 and propel a ball against the rebound surface 34 to deflect onto the court 12 in order to score points. The court 12 may be provided with an aperture defining an out-of-play region, and may be elevated by means of a tripod 14 or other suitable support. In another embodiment, the deflecting element 32 may be pivoted on a support 50 to be displaced from a position in which it is mounted orthogonal to the court 12 to a position in which it is supported horizontally above the court 12 and shields the court 12 from adverse weather conditions.

A game in which each opposing player utilizes a racquet, a paddle (16), or a hand to propel a ball (19) on to a game board (15) having three playing surfaces (40,42,44). These playing surfaces (40,42,44) are related to one another at angles which are within a specified range. The playing surface (40) is vertically disposed on a first planar member (30). A second planar member (32) is angularly disposed relative to the first planar member (30) and has its playing surface (42) upwardly and outwardly disposed with respect to the vertical playing surface (40). A third planar member (34) is angularly disposed relative to the first planar member (30) and has its playing surface (44) downwardly and outwardly disposed with respect to the vertical playing surface (40). The second (32) and third (34) planar members can be pivoted relative to the first planar member (30) to enable the angles between the respective playing surfaces (40,42,44) to be varied within the specified range. The rules of the game require that the ball (19) comes into contact with the surfaces (40,42,44) in a specified order both while serving and during play. The game board (15) may be incorporated into furniture, may be wall mounted, or may be on a free-standing base.
