112 GOLF-DRIVING RANGES US14647645 2013-11-27 US20150290519A1 2015-10-15 Norman Matheson LINDSAY
A golf-driving range includes a target (1; 60; 90) which is spaced from bays (2) from which balls (7, 20) are driven to land on an impact surface (9; 61; 91) of the target (1; 60; 90) and roll into a partly-peripheral catcher (6; 62-64; 94) of the target (1; 60; 90). Kinetic energy of each ball (20; 80), entering the catcher (6; 62-64; 94), is dissipated by impact with a weighted flap or other energy absorber (34; 82; 99), to bring the ball (7; 80) momentarily to a halt, before dropping onto inclined gutters or guides (30, 31; 83; 98), or directly, for funnelling into a ball collector (36). The balls may be RFID tagged and data for computer analysis from travel parameters of each ball is derived by instrumentation (41-44; 85, 86) in at least part of its passage between its launch position (2) and collection at the catcher (6; 62-64; 94).
113 BucketBall, a ball tossing game US14217573 2014-03-18 US20150265894A1 2015-09-24 Anthony Joseph Weber; Stephen Thomas Weber; Michael Wayne Weber

115 Quarter Masters US14181696 2014-02-16 US20150231465A1 2015-08-20 Colin Richard Kelly
A portable in-door, out-door, token game board consisting of four equally-spaced tiles permanently affixed horizontally in line atop a rigid rectangular board at graduated distances from a target at the end of the board, and also serving as a protective surface for play of the traditional game called “Quarters” (See FIG. 5 Illustration). The tiles are of a uniform size, and of a sufficiently hard and smooth surfacing to facilitate predictable, repetitive bounces of a token used as a projectile game piece. The receptacle, a circular hole framed by a square, twice the thickness of the base board, secures against undue motion, a target vessel, such as a plastic drinking cup. Play on the game board entails people competing subject to a set of uniform rules printed on the back of the board. Play involves participants sequentially bouncing, by hand, a token off one of the tiles with the goal of landing the token within the target. The token and the drinking vessel are not part of the invention. Various tokens, of the participants' choice, may be used. The game board facilitates the uniform play of the traditional, informal game of Quarters. The token most likely to be used in play, as the projectile, is a coin (in the United States, typically a United States Treasury minted quarter-dollar coin, hence the description of the traditional game, “Quarters”).
