This invention is an exercise device for strenghtening the muscles of the pelvis, particularly the collective group of muscles involved in human sexual response, which are also important for controlling the evacuation of the intestines and the bladder. This exercise device focuses on increasing the mass, strength and tone of these muscles. The device comprises a pair of longitudinally extending members (47) that are connected to one another at their first ends (14, 20). The opposing second ends of these members are movable between an open position and a closed position, but are biased toward the open position providing resistance to movement toward the closed position. In the open position the second ends of the members are spaced apart from one another further than the first ends of the members are spaced apart from one another. The device is sized and configured to be received within the vaginal and anal cavities of the human body to exercise the groups of muscles related thereto.

An exercise device employing side-by-side pivotally supported moving surfaces. In one particular example, an exercise device employs a first belt deployed about a front roller and a rear roller and an adjacent second belt deployed about a front roller and a rear roller. The rear of the belts in the area of the rear rollers are pivotally secured and the front of the belts in the area of the front roller are adapted to reciprocate in an up and down motion during use. In some implementations, the moving surfaces include an interconnection structure such that a generally downward movement of one surface is coordinated with a generally upward movement of the other surface. In other implementations, the moving surfaces are operably associated with one or more resistance elements that effect the amount of force required to pivot or actuate the moving surfaces.

177 | ELASTICITY-CONTROLLABLE TRAMPOLINE USING PLATE SPRING | EP01926188.2 | 2001-04-17 | EP1278578A1 | 2003-01-29 | Oh, Kyoung-Chan; Oh, Ju-Whan |
Disclosed is an elasticity-controllable trampoline using a plate spring that can be manufactured in small size and in low height compared with existing trampolines using coil springs, thereby proving stability to a user. Also, it has a mechanical structure, thereby providing a semi-permanent life term. Under the principles of a lever using the third law of motion, particularly, the plate spring carries out action in smooth manner, in operation and also carries out reaction with the jumping operation of the user, such that the trampoline of the present invention will have strong elasticity. In addition, a plate spring support movable stand on the plate spring is moved in simple manner according to the principles of the lever, thereby allowing the elasticity of the plate spring to be controlled. With the adjustement of the upward and downward motion of an action point operation bolt, the height of the upward and downward motion can be adjusted. Specifically, the step plate is maintained at a horizontal state, upon upward and downward motion, by the adoption of a coupling movable member for maintaining the step plate horizontally, and a bearing sheet is formed on the step plate with a result that the step plate can carry out a twist motion.

Device for stimulating venous return in the lower limbs including a frame (1) intended to rest with a supporting surface against a foundation such as a floor, a bed head, a wall etc. The device is distinguished in that a foot plate (4) is arranged to tilt on frame (1) from an starting position that is angled in relation to the floor and thus frame (1) around an axle (5), that foot plate (4) is provided with a leaf spring (9) acting between a section (7) of the frame and the underside of foot plate (4), that the section (7) has such a form that when foot plate (4) pivots from the said starting position, leaf spring (9), by being progressively tensioned by the interaction of the frame with the section of the spring, increases the resistance against the pivoting of foot plate. |
