143 AEROBIC EXERCISE GARMENT EP98903892.2 1998-02-03 EP0917433B1 2003-06-25 Dicker, Timothy P.; Wilkinson, William T.
An aerobic exercise garment (10) includes a body section (14) and limb sections (12). The garment includes a base fabric (24) which incorporates elastic resistance band material (18) having a direction of stretch. The elastic resistance band material (18) is formed with a minimal number of pieces and is incorporated in the garment by securing the pieces together at locations which do not interfere with the direction of resistance.

145 EXERCISE GARMENT EP98913225 1998-03-27 EP1011353A4 2000-07-05 DICKER TIMOTHY P; WILKINSON WILLIAM
Exercise garment (10) includes an outer layer (22) of clothing which is in the form of a warm up suit or sweatsuit loosely fitting on the user. An inner layer of clothing made of elastic resistance material (14) is secured to the inside of the outer layer of clothing. The inner layer of clothing is anchored at spaced locations so that the user is required to stretch the material of the inner layer (14) during various body movements while the outer layer (22) remains loose fitting.
146 RESISTIVE EXERCISE PANTS AND HAND STIRRUPS EP97931023 1997-06-03 EP0912114A4 1999-09-08 DICKER TIMOTHY P
In the resistive exercise pants (20), a single, wide band (50) or two spaced-apart resistive bands (4) traverse the length of the leg from the hips to the heel stirrup. Suspenders (26) attach the resistive exercise pants (20) to the shoulders, thereby holding the length of the body in dynamic tension. The front pair of resistive bands (40) bifurcate adjacent the knee (42) to conformedly curve about the calf and to form a heel stirrup (28) with the rear pair of the resistive bands. With the single resistive band (50), bifurcation occurs adjacent the knee (52) and generally progresses in a linear fashion down to the ankle where a heel stirrup (28) is formed. Hand stirrups (70) generally engage the fingers distributing tension applied by resistive bands running along the sleeve of an exercise-resistive shirt. The hand is circumscribed by an elastic band (118) with greater securement of the hand stirrup achieved by elastic finger bands (80) passing through finger interstices.
147 WEIGHT LOSS GARMENT EP97916092.0 1997-03-20 EP0891209A1 1999-01-20 Wilkinson, William
A new resistance, weight loss garment worn by user will elevate the heart rate of a user so that the user can expend more calories over an extended period. The garment would contain at least one article of clothing worn on the body of the user, said article of clothing incorporating elastic resistance structures (58, 59, 52) that tend to oppose normal directions of motion thereby causing extra exertion by the user that results in burning more calories over a period of time.
148 Exercise device EP93100351.1 1993-01-12 EP0606507A1 1994-07-20 Wilkinson, William T.

An aerobic resistance exercise garment (48) effectively supplements a motion exercise. The garment (48) includes an article of clothing worn on the body with an anchor member (14,18,58) worn at the hand or foot. A connecting element (32,34,36,38,39) is connected to the article of clothing (48) and the anchor member (14,18,58). The connecting element (32,34,36,38,39) is preferably made of an elastic material so as to offer resistance during the movement of the arm or leg in a motion exercise.

149 COMPACT MULTI-PURPOSE EXERCISE APPARATUS EP88910248.0 1988-10-11 EP0396572A1 1990-11-14 BERNSTEIN, Lawrence A.
150 APPAREIL DE MUSCULATION EP86906861.0 1986-11-28 EP0248831A1 1987-12-16 Miccoli, Cosimo
151 A combined intraframe and interframe transform coding method EP84302109.8 1984-03-28 EP0123456A2 1984-10-31 Chen, Wen-Hsiung; Elliott, James Parker; Newell, Robert Edwin George; Nichols, Ralph Emerson; Rackett, Albert Edwards

An apparatus and method for signal processing employing intraframe and interframe variable prediction transform coding. Images are represented by sequential frames of two-dimensional arrays of digital signals. The digital signals are transformed to form transform coefficients for each frame. Predicted transform coefficients are formed using sets of variable prediction factors. The predicted transform coefficients for each frame are compared with corresponding actual transform coefficients for the frame to form transform coefficient difference signals. The difference signals are processed to control their range of values. The processed difference signals are statistically coded such thatthe more frequently occurring values are represented by shorter code lengths and the less frequently occurring values are represented by longer code lengths. The coded signals are stored in a buffer memory for transmission.
