An electric apparatus for carrying out start-up control of a plurality of devices requiring start-up electric currents exceeding an amount of current required at ordinary states thereof. The apparatus has a power source, a signal generating circuit for generating a stable state signal when one or the plurality of the devices enter a stable state after start-up thereof and a control circuit for causing a next device to start in response to the output of the stable state signal to the previously started device or devices. One example of the signal generating circuit includes an electric current measuring circuit and judges that the device is at a stable state thereof when the electric current supplied to the device becomes lower than a predetermined value. The above construction temporarily prevents maximum start-up currents of the devices from being supplied from the power source to the respective devices and consequently reduces the electric load on the power source. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the operation of a motor simultaneously with other instruments, necessitating much electric power upon starting, by a method wherein the signal of a signal retaining circuit, outputting an operating signal upon generating service interruption, is intercepted by the signal of a service interruption detector to control a refrigerating machine so as not to be re-started automatically when the service interruption is restored.
SOLUTION: Upon service interruption, a service interruption detector 10 detects the service interruption and outputs a service interruption signal to a signal retaining circuit 4 through an OR signal circuit 11 to intercept the retaining of an operating signal and stop the operation of a refrigerating machine 5. After the service interruption is restored, an operation switch 2 is controlled so as to re-operate the refrigerating machine 5 after confirming that the operation of the refrigerating machine 5 will never be duplicated with other instruments, necessitating much electric power upon starting the operation thereof. Accordingly, even when the service interruption is restored, the refrigerating machine can be controlled so as not to be operated simultaneously with other instruments, necessitating much electric power upon starting the operation thereof, whereby the affection of excessive current or voltage drop, given to an electric power system, can be prevented.

PURPOSE: To provide a plural socket terminal which is not dangerous even when a person erroneously touches it by interposing an impedance detecting type electronic circuit having an electronic switching means between the plug socket terminal and a feed line.
CONSTITUTION: An electronic switching means is formed of a complementary SCR, transistor element, or serially connected TRIAC 110 and DIAC 120. The electronic switching means is provided, for example, between a power source input line of AC 115V and a plug socket 122, and a required capacitor 118, a resistor 102 and the like are arranged, whereby an impedance detecting type circuit is constituted. This circuit is automatically operated in such a manner that a safe and very small current is carried when a human body having a large impedance touches plug socket terminals 124, 126, and the full voltage of the power source current is substantially applied when an electric equipment having a small impedance is connected thereto.

PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a power source device by starting devices each having a large starting current at a time difference.
CONSTITUTION: when a power source for a laser printer is turned ON, a main motor 4 is first started. When the lock signal SL1 of the motor 4 is input, a polygon motor 5 is started. When the lock signal SL2 of the motor 5 is input, a heater 6 and a lamp 7 are started. Thus, since the maximum value of a load current largely decreases, the capacity of the power source can be reduced.

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution and to connect an external power supply to an internal power supply circuit, by inhibiting the functioning of the internal power supply circuit until all necessary modules are loaded. CONSTITUTION:An internal power supply circuit 12 supplies the power to modules 111-11n, and a detecting/connecting circuit 13 performs the detection of insertion and the connection of power supply for the modules 111-11n. The circuit 13 consists of a series circuit connecting in series plural switch elements of a connector part including the sockets of the modules plus the plags corresponding to the modules, a relay RY which connects the series circuit in series between the power supplies, and a by-pass switch S. when a desired module is inserted, the relay RY closes the corresponding switch element and gives a short circuit to the series circuit. As a result, a normally opened contact RYS is closed to apply an external power supply to the circuit 12. |

An electric power tool includes a relay, an electric circuit, and an operation member. The relay has a coil, contacts, and an on-switch. The relay is configured such that the coil is energized when contacts are closed by an on-switch being pressed, and contacts are held in a closed state by an electromagnetic force of coil when coil is energized. In the electric circuit, electric power from power source is supplied to motor and coil of relay, and contacts are connected in series between power source and motor. The operation member is configured to move in reciprocating manner between tool stop position at which the motor stops and tool drive position which the motor runs, where the operation member is configured to locate away from on-switch of the relay at the tool drive position and configured to press the on-switch at a position other than tool drive position. |
