PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling structure for a main body case to make an assembling property and solidity excellent and secure sufficient insulation performance between phases of main circuit terminals.
SOLUTION: In this circuit breaker, a breaker body case of a resin molding is divided into three parts of a lower case 1a, an upper cover 1b and an intermediate case 1c to be assembled in with respective components for the breaker, each pocket-like receiving port 1c-1 is formed in an upper face side of the intermediate case 1c to be fitted in with each tip of each inter-phase partitioning wall 1b-1 provided in the upper cover 1b in an assembled condition of the main body case, each recessed groove 1c-3 is formed on the lower face side thereof to be engaged with each upper edge of each inter-phase partitioning wall 1a-1 provided on the lower case 1a side, and the inter-phase partitioning walls 1a-1, 1b-1 of the lower case 1a and the upper cover 1b are fitted respectively into the recessed grooves 1c-3 and the receiving ports 1c-1 formed in the intermediate case 1c to be restrictedly held in an assembling position, in an assembling process. Alignment for the respective divided cases is facilitated thereby, rigidity in an assembled condition is increased, and each insulative creeping distance between main circuit terminals of respective phases is increased to enhance insulation performance.

PURPOSE: To provide a switch which surely operates at low cost, even when the pole number of a protective switch increases by providing an integrally formed connecting rod for allowing a switching lever and a casing middle shell, axially supported in each pole chamber to penetrate in their arranged direction.
CONSTITUTION: Connecting rods 47, 49 are forced to penetrate a switching lever and a casing middle shell 55 axially supported in each pole chamber, and a casing shell 1, a shell 55 and a closed shell 2 are connected together by a tube rivet 34. A cam rod 14, connecting rods 47, 49 pass shaft notches 60 to 62 on the middle wall of the shell 55 and can rotate, in response to the rotation of a switching lever. By means of this constitution, a frictional force of an adjacent switching lever is not transmitted, and even if the number of pole is large, the rotational motion of a directly triggering switching lever can be transmitted uniformly. Therefore, all the poles can be triggered simultaneously, so that the operational certainty is improved.

PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing costs by decreasing the number of constituent elements of a multi-electrode grounding current breaker and the amount of wirings between its compartments. CONSTITUTION: A multi-electrode grounding current breaker has a plurality of compartments 24, 26, 28, 30 and is equipped with a grounded condition sensing circuit which senses the ground current. Each of them has a trip solenoid assembly 108 furnished with a plurality of wirings 118 and 120 corresponding to different pairs of main contacts 54 capable of being opened. The trip solenoid assembly is mounted on a printed circuit board 124 and connected with the grounded condition sensing circuit. The printed circuit board is installed in a single compartment together with trip solenoid assembly, which allows decreasing the amount of wirings between the compartments and reducing the manufacturing costs for the device. |

PURPOSE: To prevent a contact collector from damaging a cover in a circuit breaker by providing a shock absorber collector having rubber stops interposed therein between the contact collector near outer poles and the housing cover.
CONSTITUTION: Rubber stop collectors 234 are arranged on outer poles in order to prevent a cover 24 of a breaker from being damaged when a contact collector 109 separates from a fixed main contact 32. Although a considerably larger force is generated especially when the contact arm collector 109 opens by a magnetic repulsive member 118 in an overcharged state of a relatively higher level, the rubber stop collectors 234 arranged on the outer poles prevent the contact collector 109 from butting against the cover 24. The rubber stop collectors 234 includes a shock absorber 236 for holding a clearance between itself and the cover 24 of a breaker housing 21. The separation of the shock absorber 236 from the cover 24 simply prevents the cover 24 from being damaged.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker which can be turned on and off using a remotely operated mechanism, separately from a manually operated circuit breaker mechanism.SOLUTION: Opening and closing of a movable contact arm 120 for opening and closing a circuit is controlled by a switch lever 175 independently of a circuit breaker mechanism for circuit protection. The switch lever 175 is activated by a solenoid 180 or other suitable means. Further, a plurality of interlocking mechanisms exist between components to provide safety features. |
