【解決手段】多方向操作装置としてのミラー制御装置1は、複数のリブ84を有する操作ノブ8と、上面75側から立ち上がって設けられ、操作ノブ8が中立位置にある場合、それぞれのリブの接触面842と対向して操作ノブ8の傾倒操作を規制する複数の規制部760、及び規制部760間に設けられ、操作ノブ8が中立位置から左又は右に回転操作がなされて傾倒操作が可能な操作位置に位置する場合、操作ノブ8の傾倒操作においてそれぞれのリブの接触面842との接触を回避して操作ノブ8の傾倒操作を許容する複数の許容部761を有するベゼル部7と、を備えて概略構成されている。

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional switch device which is excellent in operability and easily provides lower cost and a reduced size.SOLUTION: A multidirectional switch device 1 for a power mirror device includes an operation shaft 3 with an operation knob 2 attached thereto so that the operation shaft can perform rotation operation and tilting operation, and a housing 10 for supporting the operation shaft 3. In the housing 10, a circuit board 4 having a second fixed contact 17 on a lower face, a wafer 5 mounted on the circuit board 4 to have a first fixed contact 21, a rotary holder 6 that rotates integrally while allowing the operation shaft 3 to fluctuate, a rotary slider 7 that rotates integrally with the operation shaft 3 to slide during tilting operation, a first movable contact 22 held by the rotary holder 6, and a second movable contact 18 held by the rotary slider 7 are provided. When the operation shaft 3 is subjected to rotation operation to rotate the rotary holder 6 at about 180 degrees from a rotation neutral position, a first signal is outputted, and when the operation shaft 3 is subjected to tilting operation while the rotary holder 6 is rotated at about ±45 degrees, a second or third signal is outputted.
